MEA 9F Coordinating Council

The 9F Coordinating Council meets at least five times per year to discuss issues of mutual concern. The council consists of one or two members from every MEA local in the 9F Uniserv service area. All of the 9F locals in located in Allegan County.

The purpose of the council is threefold.

Direct the Uniserv director and associate staff
Provide a forum for issues of mutual concern
Support the negotiations

Council meeting are normally held on the third Tuesday of every other month. The location of most meetings is the Allegan Technical Education Center. The December meeting is traditionally held at a restaurant in or near Allegan.

The council assesses dues of $1 per EA and $0.50 per ESP member. These dues are used primarily to provide food and supplies for activities sponsored by the coordinating council.
