I am very interested in serving the parents and community in all the challenges that face the school district over the next several years.

I would work closely with the administration, staff and community to strengthen the academic, artistic and athletic programs, and to publicize the school’s excellence to the local community and beyond.

I’m interested in studying the overall impression of the district to the public and then to work to improve that.

I would like to offer all day, everyday kindergarten for parents who are interested and students who need it.

I would help develop a plan to restore the school year to a full 180 days of school.

I would study the schools breakfast and lunch programs to determine ways to improve the nutritional value and variety of the foods.

I would help establish quarterly community forums with the local state legislators, both to take reports from the legislators and to share local concerns with them.

I’m interested in establishing a committee to look into the possibility of leaping TK ahead by having all students, starting around fourth grade, using network enabled handheld computers throughout all of their classes.
