What is a grievance?

"Grievance" is a claim of violation of this contract or a dispute as to the interpretation or application of this contract. The "aggrieved person" is the person or persons making the claim.

How do I know when to file a grievance?

You should familiarize yourself with the Master Agreement, or at least the part that your feel has been violated.  You can download a copy of the contract here.
