How do I figure out what wage scale to use?
Hired after 12/31/11 (not yet hired): Steps increased by 2% over current rates. No medical/dental adjustments.
Hired between 01/01/11 and 12/31/11: Does not include any prior medical adjustments. Does include dental offset and 2% wage increase on all steps.
Hired between 10/01/08 and 01/01/11: Does not include the 22 cent medical offset built into the top step. You should use the 4+ wage. Add 2.5% development pay (if applicable).
Hired before 10/01/08: You have had the 22 cent medical offset built into the top step. You should use the 4+* wage and add 2.5 or 3.5% development pay (if applicable).
