NEA Response to Managing Our Future Forums:
NEA leadership and teachers, have been in attendance at every Managing Our Future forum. Members of the NEA Representative Assembly distributed approximately 100 flyers at last evening's forum (Dec. 14). Teachers had the opportunity to engage in respectful dialog with community members relevant to teachers' perspective on the impact District proposed reductions will have on programming and staffing.

NEA Members Send Letters to Lansing:
NEA members have sent well over 350 letters to the legislators of the State of Michigan. Citizens for Responsible Funding of Public Schools demanded that legislators effectuate budget reforms to properly fund public schools.
