COBRA Benefits If you are interested in accepting the Early Severance Incentive currently being offered by the school district and are not retiring, you may wish to purchase COBRA Benefits. Here is some important information for you! COBRA Benefits would give you coverage for 18 months (beginning Sept. 1st). You can take these benefits for just yourself or for any family member that was on the plan when it was terminated. The cost of these COBRA benefits would be as follows: Health - Single $498.59 per month Health - 2 Person $997.16 per month Health - Family $1371.10 per month Dental $96.45 per month Vision $18.35 per month If you have further questions about COBRA Benefits, feel free to contact Patti Wert or Dawn (McBeath) Schaller.

The PCEA Benefits Committee consists of teacher representatives from each
building in the Plymouth–Canton School District. Patti Wert is the PCEA Benefits Chairperson. and can be reached at (734) 981-3363. The purpose of this committee is to gather information regarding all employee benefits (health, dental, vision, long term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance plan, family medical leave, and HIPPA privacy practices) and make it available to PCEA members.
PCEA Benefit Committee representatives are available to all PCEA members to
answer questions and/or assist members in getting benefit questions answered.

	Dependent Eligibility for 19-25 year-olds The dependent must: A. Be a member of the employee’s household AND B. Be a full time college student 5 months of the calendar year OR earn less than four times the current personal exemption amount allowed by the IRS. C. College students may live away from home. D. The end of the calendar year, for 25 year-olds, is the maximum length of time they can remain on your coverage.
