6th Grade Reader's Workshop / Theater

    This 9 week course is designed to give students their first experience with reading in terms of theater and other reading enrichment activities.  Students will be participating in small skits in class and learning how to interpret what they read in many different formats.

Scripts We Are Reading During This Course:  Charlotte's Web,   The Wizard Of Oz,  

Every Wednesday we visit the library to check out books. 

We also have been talking about movement on stage and warming up with some theater warm up exercises.

As a literature study, we have been reading The Trumpet Of The Swan, by E.B. White.
