You are the SLEA. A Union is only as strong as its members. Become an active member by giving of your time and energy to one of our committees. Currently, the SLEA leadership has added Political Action Committee to the Communications Committee as their two Building a Full Capacity Local focus for this year. We all need to be politically aware and active at the school board and community level as well as the State and National levels. We need fresh ideas and commitments to making the SLEA strong. Become involved.

People are naturally concerned about contracting the Swine Flu. The media is reporting on this constantly. As in any medical situation, the most important thing to keep any medical issue in perspective is being informed. The following information has been provided by MESSA:
