Text Box: The UTF Grievance Committee is responsible under the UTF Constitution and By-Laws for processing all grievances at Level II.  Each member of the committee is given responsibility for being the lead advocate on a number of grievances each year.  Those grievances that affect a member's job security are assigned to one of our two Executive Directors.   Level II hearings are held with the Board once or twice a month, as necessary.   Most grievances are either resolved, settled, or dropped after the Level II hearing.  Approximately 6-10 grievances, however, are sent to arbitration.   The advocates for all arbitrations are the Executive Directors.
