Current Issues · PAC contributions are still being collected at each building. Please see your building rep. for more info. · The contract was ratified and approved by a vote of 7-0 at the Oct. board meeting. Retro pay will be in the Nov. 14th paycheck. · The new contract allows for 10 days of personal leave. Please continue to indicate the reason for your absence when requesting a sub, for recording purposes. All personal days should still be requested in advance so that a substitute may be arranged. · Teachers in grades 3-5 should keep a record of the time required to administer DRA tests. Please pass along this information on to your building rep. as this will then be forwarded to administration. · The new contract allows for 4 delayed starts instead of the previous 8. The remaining dates are Dec. 11th, Mar. 31st, and Apr. 29th |

Congratulations to Jennifer Haase, the newly elected Michigan State House Representative for the 32nd district.
Jennifer looks forward to working to make Michigan a better place and to helping teachers across the state achieve their goals in educating the students of our state.
