WUMS-TV is the closed-circuit TV station run by Wayland
Union Middle School students. Each year, groups of students take
control of the station. The students create top notch
programs. These are broadcast live to over 500 students and
staff in the school. Shows are digital published here for
others to enjoy. |

In 2004-2005, six groups hand off operation of the station. Each group consists of five task teams. Teams include management, reporting, photography, graphics and technical operations. By the end of 2005, an additional team will be producing a variety program. "The Cat's List" is the flagship broadcast of WUMS-TV. It is a fun and educational magazine program airing live every Tuesday morning. In the future, a new edutainment variety program will be produced for Thursday mornings. |
